  1. What is BlastTV?

BlastTV is a streaming platform founded in 2023 with an emphasis on providing the best of live sports, quality entertainment, and on-demand content through its ad-supported and premium package offerings.

With 20+ live channels covering sports and entertainment plus an extensive library of on-demand content including popular TV shows, blockbuster movies, news, factual entertainment, Blast TV aims to revolutionize the way viewers consume live TV and on-demand programming.

  1. How do I purchase BlastTV?

You can subscribe via web at app.blasttv.ph or download the app from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

For eligible ISP subscribers, make sure to connect to your Converge or Globe at Home broadband first then go to blasttv.ph to register and activate your subscription.

  1. Who are your participating ISP partners? How do I know I am eligible for the free BlastTV? Can I upgrade to the ‘no ads’ plan?

If you have an existing and active home broadband subscription with these providers, you should be able to activate your free BlastTV by registering on blasttv.ph.

If you’d like to watch ads-free and subscribe to premium channels, you can upgrade to the paid version by going to your Account > Subscription > and choosing your paid plan.

  1. What’s the difference between the free and the paid plan?

The free plan is only available to subscribers of BlastTV’s participating home broadband providers. The Blast Pass or Setanta Blast Pass Monthly or Annual (No Ads) is the paid version available to direct subscribers and as an upgrade option for our ISP subscribers. The free and paid plans both have access to all BlastTV signature channels and its basic channels pack with the paid version offering the benefit of no ads for uninterrupted viewing and additional premium channels.

  1. What paid plans are available?

BlastTV offers the following plans for you to choose from:

As a BlastTV paying subscriber, you are automatically charged monthly or annually on the date you signed up. You can cancel your free trial or active membership at any time on your account page. If you cancel your subscription before your free trial expires, you will not be billed, but will be unable to access content when logged in.

  1. Do you offer a free trial?

        Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial with our recurring subscriptions for new users. This offer only applies when purchasing a recurring subscription for the first time. If you upgrade or switch to another plan, you won’t qualify for another free trial. If you choose not to cancel during the trial period, you'll be charged at the end of the 7 days.

  1. What payment options do you accept?

You can purchase your BlastTV subscription through the web and mobile app via credit/debit card payments and GCash (coming soon).

For non-credit card payments, you can purchase vouchers through the BlastTV store (store.blasttv.ph) and third-party merchants (GCash, Maya).

  1. How do I purchase BlastTV vouchers?

To purchase BlastTV vouchers, go to:

Vouchers are non-recurring (one-time use codes) to be used for the Voucher Redemption licenses and do not have a free trial.

  1. My voucher isn’t working. What should I do?

Make sure that you are using your voucher with the correct license or subscription plan. If you have a Monthly voucher, select the Monthly voucher redemption license to redeem. If you have a 6-month or annual voucher, select the correct voucher redemption license. If your voucher is still invalid, it may have expired and need to be replaced. For assistance, reach out to our support team at support@blasttv.ph.

  1. I have a promo code from one of the promotions you’re running. How do I use it?

To redeem a promo code, select the correct license or subscription your promo code is valid for and apply it on checkout. Make sure to check the promo mechanics for the validity period.

  1. How do I downgrade my BlastTV paid plan to the free one if I’m a broadband subscriber of Converge and Globe at Home?

To switch to the free tier, make sure to cancel any paid subscriptions to avoid getting charged.

  1. Contact us via FB Messenger or support@blasttv.ph so we can delete your account.
  2. Once deleted, connect to your Globe at Home or Converge connection and go to blasttv.ph to re-register.

Please note that downgrading to the free tier means losing access to premium channels. Should you wish to upgrade again, go to your Account page to see the offered subscriptions.

  1. How can I view my plan and billing information?

To view plan and subscription details, go to your account page. Within the section ‘Payment History’, click the ‘View’ button to view your payment history.

  1. What if my payment method isn’t accepted?

If BlastTV has been unable to collect a payment, it usually means the card issuer or financial institution has rejected the charge. Please go to your account page to update or change your payment method. We will immediately verify the new information and, if the charge is approved by your card issuer, you can continue enjoying our content.

  1. How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password or need to unlock your account, go to the BlastTV login screen and click the link that says, “Forgot your username or password?”

Enter the email address associated with your BlastTV account and you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

  1. How do I cancel my subscription?

 

Your BlastTV subscription must be cancelled through the same store or method it was purchased:

Using BlastTV

  1. What devices can I use to watch BlastTV?

BlastTV is available on the following devices:

  1. Can I watch on multiple devices at once?        

You can activate your account on an unlimited number of devices, but you can only actively stream from two (2) of them simultaneously. It means if you try to stream BlastTV on more than two screens simultaneously, you'll encounter the error message “You have reached the maximum streams allowed.”

  1. Can I watch with subtitles on?

While there is an option in every video to select subtitles, not all content would have subtitles.

  1. Can I download or view content offline?

This feature is currently unavailable.

Troubleshooting Issues

  1. I am getting a “No Internet Connection. Please check your network.” error message while trying to view the content.

One of the most common issues seen by our users is that of weak and interrupted internet connectivity within their home Wi-Fi Networks. If you see constant buffering or loading circles or frequent changes in the quality of your streams, try these troubleshooting steps:

Content will automatically get refreshed once connected to a stable internet connection. If none of the above work, and you continue to have the same issues, please consider contacting your Internet Service Provider.

  1. Why am I getting a “You’re not entitled to view this content.” error message?

You’re seeing this error due to either of the following:

1. You are not subscribed to any of our packages or the correct subscription plan, or

2. You’re trying to access content while outside the Philippines or using a foreign IP address (e.g. VPN).

To be able to access the content you want, check if you have an active subscription with us. If the error persists, contact our support team (support@blasttv.ph) for assistance.

  1. Desktop Browser Issues

When trying to access a live BlastTV event, if you are seeing a continuous loading circle or connection error within the video player, this may be resolved by signing out of BlastTV, clearing your web browser’s cache, and relaunching the browser.

If you’re unsure of how to clear your web browser’s cache, please see the below links for instructions from each of the most commonly used browsers:

  1. iPhone/iPad or Android issues

For any issues on the iOS / Android app please try to reinstall the app from your mobile device:

If you continue to have trouble, install any available software updates. If these suggestions do not resolve the issues you are encountering, please try accessing the app through a different network or Wi-Fi connection to see if the same issues occur. Or, for more detailed information please visit the official iPhone/iPad or Android support pages.

  1. System Requirements

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

A broadband internet connection (DSL/cable or higher) of 750kbps or higher is needed. If you have an internet connection speed of 5.0Mbps or higher and your computer meets the requirements below, you will be able to enjoy the content at its highest video quality.

BlastTV for Globe at Home

  1. How can Globe at Home users access the new BlastTV?

Make sure you are connected to your Globe at Home Internet service. Go to https://blasttv.ph/ and complete registration to start streaming.

  1. Can I still use BlastTV even when not connected to my Globe at Home broadband?

To stream for free, you must be connected to your Globe at Home broadband service. The free streaming only works if you are connected to our partner ISPs (in this case, your GAH connection). Otherwise, you will be presented with our paid subscription plans.

  1. I already have an existing paid plan. How do I downgrade to the free one with my Globe at Home subscription?

If you are an active broadband customer of Globe at Home, you may choose to cancel your paid plan to avail of Globe Blast Pass (free). There is no direct way to downgrade at the moment but you may:

  1. Contact us via FB Messenger or support@blasttv.ph to delete your current account.
  2. Once deleted, connect to your Globe at Home broadband and go to https://blasttv.ph/ to register.

Please note that content offered on the Globe Blast Pass varies from the paid Blast Pass subscriptions.

BlastTV for Converge

  1. How can Converge ICT users access BlastTV?

Make sure you are connected to your Converge Internet service. Go to https://blasttv.ph/ and complete registration to start streaming.

  1. Can I still use BlastTV even when not connected to my Converge broadband?

To stream for free, you must be connected to your Converge broadband service. The free streaming only works if you are connected to our partner ISPs (in this case, your Converge connection). Otherwise, you will be presented with our paid subscription plans.

  1. I already have an existing paid plan. How do I downgrade to the free one with my Converge subscription?

If you are an active broadband customer of Converge, you may choose to cancel your paid plan to avail of Converge Blast Pass (free). There is no direct way to downgrade at the moment but you may:

  1. Contact us via FB Messenger or support@blasttv.ph to delete your current account.
  2. Once deleted, connect to your Globe at Home broadband and go to https://blasttv.ph/ to register.

BlastTV Rentals

  1. What are BlastTV rentals?

BlastTV rentals are movies available for rent for 48 hours from the time you purchase it. After the rental period ends, the movie will no longer be available for viewing. Pricing for rental movies varies depending on their category and is displayed on checkout.

  1. Are rentals part of my subscription plan?

Rentals are separate from your monthly or annual subscription, which means buying rentals is an additional charge on top of your existing subscription. You can also purchase rentals even without having any existing subscription.

  1. How do I purchase BlastTV rentals?

To purchase rentals, just click on the movie you want to rent and checkout via credit/debit card payment. Once successful, you should be able to watch the rental.

  1. Can I watch a rented movie multiple times within the rental period? Can I extend the rental period if I need more time to watch a movie?

You may watch a rented movie multiple times within the 48-hour rental period, however once the rental period is up, you need to purchase it again to be able to watch it again.

  1. How many concurrent streams are allowed for rentals?

        Only one (1) streaming at a time is allowed to view your rented movie.
